...

sometimes i think i'm looking far too much into the future. i mean, i'm still so young (and single!) so why the heck am i thinking about my future kids, which school i'm gonna be sending them to, and where my family will live? hmmm...

my mom and i have been going to different places, trying to look for a residential lot that we could buy as an investment or possibly so me or my sis could build a house on that lot in the future. our numerous site trippings got me thinking a lot about where i want my future family to live in. i decided that i still want to live somewhere in the area so i could send my kids to the same prep/grade school/high school that i went to. but then it got me thinking... how can i afford to to send them to that school? haaayyy...

my mom already owned her own house before she got married. i kinda want that too. but then, will i be able to afford it?

i have so many dreams but i have no money to actually fulfill them. i really hope that by the time i get married, i have lotsa money already. or super rich si husband. haha

the first episode of maging sino ka man is on friday! i'm sooo excited! hihihi

the storm

goshy... i was so afraid of the storm last thursday!!!

my sis and i were hanging out in my room when we heard the sound of glass shattering. we quickly went downstairs to see what happened and it turns out that the dining table in our back porch crashed into one of our glass doors in the dining room. grabe... the wind was that strong as it was able to lift the table!!!

i didn't go to the office yesterday because we didn't have electricity. which means... no water. which means... i couldn't take a bath. haha. actually, we did have water but it only came out of the faucet near the garage. and man, it took forever to fill one small pail!

my mom also wanted me to stay at home because she needed me to go out to buy some stuff for the house. she couldn't leave the house because she was waiting for the people to install the new glass on our door. i spent practically the whole day yesterday driving around the area, buying stuff, having our cars filled with gas... it was generally a tiring day but i enjoyed it because of the airconditioning in the car. haha

i felt so sad when i saw the trees that were uprooted by the storm. poor trees. our area was somewhat turned into a jungle because there were a lot of fallen trees and some of the roads were not passable. hay so sad.

went to work today to make up for my absence yesterday (and to charge our phones and my ipod! haha). i was all alone in the training room (huhuhu) but at least i got a lot of work done. i called my mom around 6pm and i got so excited when she told me that we had electricity already! thank goodness!

in other news... i'm so excited to watch maging sino ka man. sam milby is just so good-looking!!! does anyone know when it'll start? hihihi

...

i don't like working in the training room. the desk is too small and i can't get close enough to the keyboard. actually, i can but then i'd just be inches away from my huge monitor. it's so uncomfortable that my back is starting to ache already. :( haaayyy... i miss my desk!!!

i'm so proud of my mommy! last week, she was awarded the most outstanding alumni in the field of banking. the award is given yearly by ust and this year she was the awardee. whoopeee!!! too bad i wasn't able to attend the ceremony because of the training. oh well.

the stringTokenizer class was discussed in today's training. i wanted to laugh while justin was disucssing it because it brought back memories of my thesis days. "diwayen was swinging from a star apple tree when a thousand locusts came." wahahaha :)) (btw, for those who didn't know, our thesis was an english-filipino example-based machine translation system and the first step in translating the input is separating the input into tokens--thus the use of the stringTokenizer class.)

...

today was the first day of our java training. i thought the training was gonna be about the application of java in cc&b but the lesson today was all about the basics of java, which is really boring if you know java already. oh well.

my sis and i went to the mall of asia yesterday. the mall was having a 3-day sale but i still ended up buying things that weren't on sale. :( we went to the sm department store itself and we were really suprised because it was so small! or maybe it just seemed small because there were a lot of people in there. hmmm...

i've been bringing a car to work for 3 weeks already and i feel so confident with my driving skills already. hehe. i'm really enjoying driving too! i like the fact that i don't have to ask my mom to pick me up from work. i like the fact that i can leave the house anytime i want. i like the fact that i can go on gimiks after work without having to worry about transpo. hay... driving is sooo liberating! :D

to my gox kada, i miss you guys soooo much!!! when are we all free so we can finally push through with our gimik?

the first entry

julie was convincing me to give her the url of my blog so she could link it from her blog. i didn't want to give it to her because the entries there were meant for my super duper close friends. i mean, i don't want other people (especially the people involved! haha) to know what was going through my mind during those drama-filled times. i just told julie that i will edit/delete some of the entries in my blog and give her the link tomorrow. as i was reading through the entries, though, i realized that there wouldn't be any entries left if i deleted the for-my-super-duper-close-friends-only entries. haha. i decided to create a new blog instead. hihihi. so julie, here it is! hehe. i'll just update this whenever i can. :D

my friend ding will be directing her very first music video!!! astig!!! watch out for moonstar 88's new video, panalangin. :D i hope i remembered the song correctly. basta, it's one of the songs in the kami napo muna album. hehe.

speaking of the apo album, i really like imago's rendition of ewan! oh and kamikazee's doo bidoo too. i was playing the cd in the car one time and my sis' boyfriend and i had such a great time singing along to "heto na... heto na... heto na.... aaaaaaahhh" :))
